| Posted: July 2008 Company: Start-up, Biofuels Plant Location: Site selected for Houston, TX, United States Job Type: Direct Hire -- Full Time immediate, prior to/during construction and after production Compensation: Negotiable, Company excellent benefits, incentive plans, career growth. Relocation: Yes POSITION SUMMARY 1. This position will be responsible for providing engineering support and leadership to the production group and coordinate with all departments to facilitate maintenance program. 2. Hands on experience at a chemical, biodiesel, or refinery is a must. 3. Maintenance Engineer will monitor and optimize production operations and 700,000 bbls of tank storage facilities. 4. Primary focus is to identify and execute plant maintenance programs and procedures that will optimize the continuous production processes as well as the movement of feedstocks and finish products in/out of the plant. 5. Assure that products move throughout the facility in a safe and environmental responsible manner. 6. The engineer is also responsible for recommending, developing, maintaining and reporting performance metrics for the operating units, providing ongoing assessment of plant production and operations to identify changes and procedures to best optimize operations, 7. Utilize process tools to identify potential improvement areas, educate/coach staff in maintenance procedures to maintain a smooth running facility with the least down time due to maintenance issues. | Environmental Engineer LOCATION: On the Mississippi River, New Orleans, LA MAIN FUNCTION: 1. Monitors all aspects of facility operations to ensure compliance with plant and facility operating permits, standards and 2. Assist in the initiation, implementation and coordination of regulatory compliance programs in conjunction with the Safety & Environmental Superintendent, General Manager and local management. 3.
