Maintenance Technician (3).  These positions will be based at a Biodiesel Refinery

Hiring Company profile:  
An alternate energy company with its first biodiesel facility in Houston, Texas, with a nameplate capacity of
105,000,0000 gallons of production per year.  This facility will initially have 700,000 bbls of new tank storage capacity with
8 tank truck racks for domestic distribution of biodiesel blends.  This is a start-up operation scheduled to start production
in May 2008.  Facility will receive and deliver via all modes. Immediate-ready to hire.

Qualifications:

  1. •        Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  2. •        5+ years of industrial chemical or petrochemical maintenance experience preferred, however will consider less
    experience for self driven team player who wants to expand skills and learn from the best.  
  3. •        Background with pumps, pipe fitters, coated welder,  electrical, mechanical seals,  valves, gages, vessels and
    exchangers
  4. •        PLC Programming is  a plus
  5. •        Instrumentation is a plus
  6. •        Strong mechanical skills to include pipe fitting, pump repairing, seals, mixers, steam systems, and liquid
    pipeline systems.
  7. •        Welding and Electrical experience a plus
  8. •        Must be authorize to work anywhere in the USA for any employer. No exceptions.

Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on plant and process equipment, and
assisting in the installation of new equipment.  Providing necessary technical and hands-on support to continuously
improve plant equipment integrity, reliability, and cost.  Maintaining/troubleshooting biodiesel process equipment, such as
pumps, valves, mechanical seals, and tanks.  Performing or coordinating preventative maintenance per required schedule
and procedures, including environmental malfunction procedures.  This is a shift position.  Over time may be required on
occasion.
